Learning how to wear a soft silicone packer comfortably takes a bit of experimentation. The goal is to position the prosthetic securely so it matches your anatomy, stays in place, and creates a natural-looking bulge beneath your clothing.
1.Choose your support method:
Decide how you want to secure your prosthetic. Snug, off-the-shelf options like boxer briefs or boy shorts can work, but many prefer specialized packing underwear with built-in interior pouches. Alternatively, a low-profile packing harness can be worn under your favorite regular underwear for a completely secure fit directly against your skin.
2.Align the prosthetic with your anatomy:
Place the packer inside your underwear or harness. To create a natural silhouette, align the flat back or base of the packer directly against your body where your legs meet your torso. Positioning it too high looks unnatural, while placing it too low can feel uncomfortable or restrictive when you sit down.
3.Check the silhouette and adjust:
Look in a mirror with your clothes on. The prosthetic should hang naturally down or slightly to one side. If the bulge looks too pronounced, look into getting a lower-profile device or a more compression-focused pouch.
